About

Bonjour from Paris,

Pack your bags and head to Paris, I’ve always dreamed about this and now – here I am. Every day I discover new amazing things in the famous city and will be happy to share them with you.

My grandmother always told me about Paris (and still charms me into bringing her her favorite French things when I visit her). She’s Italian and grew up in its capital Rome, as well as in Belgium and she also spent a big and very happy part of her teens in Paris.

But even without your grandmother being a big fan of the city and advertizing it to you, there are 1001 reasons to visit la belle Ville de Paris.

As you see I’m not a born Parisienne, but through my time here I have amassed quite a lot of addresses of places to see and be, shopping and foodie havens, unusual and great venues and lots more.

Whenever you pop in at the Robot Mixeur you will find useful information, fun facts about the city, pretty pictures and I will also add Paris-themed crafts and France-inspired recipes, so whether you have lots of cooking experience or are a culinary novice, you can bring a bit of French Cuisine right to your home – or at least to your plate.

There are tons of blogs about Paris for everyone and everything. I hope that mine will brighten your day, let you dream and sweeten your days until you step out of your plane or train to explore the City of Art, Love and Fashion all by yourself.

Greetings from Paris,

Nikky

Ps. The Robot Mixeur, it’s basically a food processor and mixer. I saw that French term on a billboard when I arrived here and liked it from the beginning. It sounds so very futuristic, I mean who wouldn’t love a Cooking Robot Assistant in the kitchen to take over the dreaded chores of chopping onions, maybe delivering matching background music for your Plat du Jour or polish your precious crystal wine glasses after an evening with friends and delicious food? Plus, in preparing the French recipes of course a mixer can come in quite handy.
